Bonna Premium Porcelain has been awarded BSI Kitemark™ certification, the internationally-recognized symbol of quality safety and trust, for its Bonna range of premium porcelain. Bonna has been in the market for over 30 years and today operates in more than 70 countries on 6 continents. At a ceremony held in June 2019, BSI Middle East, Turkey & Africa Business Development Manager Hanifi Baran presented Bonna Assistant of General Manager Erbil Aşkan and Commercial Director Reha Tavil with their KitemarkTM certificate.
Erbil Aşkan explained why they chose BSI Kitemark™ certification: “We set out with a great passion. So, we produce our products with special raw materials that we import from all over the world. We devoted ourselves to development and innovation. For this purpose, we wanted to underline the product quality and durability. This is how we began our search for an objective, independent and global certification body. Knowing that BSI is the oldest standards organization in the world has given us confidence. In addition, the international prestige and reputation of the BSI Kitemark ™ certification was exactly what we were looking for.”
Erbil Aşkan explains the benefits of the certification process as follows: “As Bonna, we only serve HoReCa (hotel, restaurant and catering) sector. The product life cycle of this sector is very fast and therefore, the products must be resistant to hard conditions and have a long service life. As a brand that is aware of this situation, we offer “Lifetime Edge Chip Waranty" to our customers on products with Bonna logo. In our approach to constantly improving quality and standing behind our product, BSI's high standards of product testing, the experience of its technical personnel and the feedback we receive from them have been a source of motivation for us to raise the bar even further in the product quality and safety.”
